Fitting It All In

Clare was on a Late-On Call shift which left Josh and I to get to grips with a busy day.

A record turn out of twenty met at CJ’s At The Sanctuary for the Falmouth & Penryn Veterans Breakfast Club April meet up. For only the second time we had Veterans of all three services with a serving soldier amongst us. Breakfast was delicious and with a bit of banter and conversation amongst friends the meet up lasted almost two and a half hours.

Then it was off to Falmouth Rugby Club for Joshua and I, last match of the season, home to local rivals Truro. By kick off the ground was packed, no room for any more cars and healthy takings on the gate.
A good match to watch but not if you were a Truro supporter, Falmouth scored the winning points with the last kick of the match, relegating Truro.

A few too many beers during the course of the afternoon and evening resulted in Joshua and I turning up for a party seven days early (my fault).

Highlight of the day, being asked for my ID before being served with a cocktail.
