Peaceful Piece work

This is the next Gathering Space table cloth in progress. It was dyed last week, and now the committee have decided how to create a sun burst of colour in the middle.
My youngest Mr A, was kept busy placing these triangles that the ladies were cutting out just to see how it might look, and then Miss C was tasked with sewing them on.
We got two rows on, and they are cheerfully returning later in the week to finish it in time for Easter.
I love seeing them get excited about these projects which take on a life far beyond just craft.
All the time we are talking about the Easter services and why we do certain things.
Talk about joyful anticipation!
