Not sure why but this made me laugh a lot. At the beach at the dog park, this one blond dog was swimming as hard as he could, trying to catch the duck. When he got close, the duck flapped its wings and moved ahead, only to be almost caught by the dog again. Meanwhile, dog's owner can be heard shouting for him to come back to the beach. Dog eventually gave up and swam towards his person. 

Salem was having a good day and even went in herself, up to her ankles. Maybe it was the sunshine that was propelling her today.

Had dinner at Lola with an Amazon friend who was in town. It's one of those Tom Douglas restaurants. Best meal I've had in I don't know how long. Enough calories for 3 days but omg, it was incredible. Will be going back there! My son would love it.

Figured out this afternoon what was causing the buggy operation of the scanner software (you can't have ANYthing else running - no web browser and certainly no other image editing software). Also figured out how to do multiple scans at the same time - it's not hard but I had one obscure setting wrong which was causing a problem. Getting closer!
