Hip to the Hop

We worked with the Love & Etiquette Foundation to document a hip hop workshop at the gorgeously renovated Museum of Lancashire. Local young people learned about the five elements of hip hop, and had the chance to practice their own beat boxing, MCing, graffiti and DJing, even writing their own lyrics.

The tutors Ikwon, Oddball and Monk-One were really informative. friendly and passionate about hip hop, and it was a pleasure to work with them and with Rizwan from Love & Etiquette. We had a great day learning more about hip hop, and hope to be involved in the next stage of the course next year too.
