Poor MrRoly has had a poor birthday. It started last night when I tried to bake his birthday pavlova and burnt it! No more sugar (or time) so no pavlova.

We did the obligatory cards/presents in bed but I then had to leave early for work so he didn’t get breakfast in bed or any kind of spoiling there.

I worked a full day again so they came over for lunch which escalated into ‘chipgate’. While funny, it would be lovely to all go out without any bickering!

As he’s home, he then had to cook his own birthday tea and as the dishwasher is still awaiting repair, bag children to clear up after themselves!!! Finally we settled down for some telly - how rock ‘n’ roll.
