Pendle Hill

We arrived early for a filming session, and decided to see what we could see over the hills from the highest point at Clitheroe Castle

The view overlooking Clitheroe to Pendle Hill is just stunning... and it was worth climbing the hill and braving the icy wind to get the photo.

One of the museum staff gave a talk about scapegoating, linking the Pendle witch story from 1612 with modern day 'child witches', and talking about the work done by Stepping Stone Nigeria.

It was a really interesting afternoon, and another piece of the puzzle for the Pendle witch project.
