Welcome to the World!

Congratulations to our friend Allison, last seen here sitting in a field of cows, and her husband Erick, owners of Legacy Herefords -- and now the proud parents of a baby boy born December 9th!

We wanted to give Baby G something that reflected his family's dedication to their Hereford herd, so after looking in the independent toy stores here without any luck, I went to Etsy, "the world's handmade marketplace," where I can buy from individual artists, and found the perfect "new baby" card and a puzzle that can be a decoration in G's room for now, and something to play with when he's old enough.

I couldn't find a baby book about Hereford cattle, so we're giving him Sheep in a Jeep, one of a series of brief hilarious rhyming stories about sheep in a variety of unlikely situations.

We're looking forward to meeting G and congratulating his parents soon!
