Black-headed gulls at Skaill

Again out looking for spring migrants. There was a chiffchaff in the Lighthouse Farm hedge and another (or the same one) in the quarry garden. About 4 goldcrests there too. A chiffchaff and goldcrests also in East Denwick. A wheatear at Mull Head. Also about- hen harrier, raven, snipe, c30 golden plover, c40 pinkfeet etc. A nice male stonechat by the airport exit. back in Kirkwall, a couple of sand martin and a couple of swallows at the Peedie Sea.
