Vikki Nelson - I Was A Fool For Leaving (recorded March 1957)
This was a B-side and featured Sam Taylor on saxophone. It was probably Vikki Nelson's best known single. She was an R&B singer active in the New Jersey/New York City area in the mid 1950s. She recorded for Premium in November 1955 and first recorded for the Vik label in March 1957. I played it from a compilation CD this afternoon with the sub-woofer attached to the hi-fi which emulated the sound of one of those luxurious fifties juke boxes and it sounded great.
