BUNTING

...it’s finished

Morning sorting my study out...with all the resources I’ve brought back from school. Bags and bags of them!!!!!
Then went on a walk with Jane up to the High Street....via the dog friendly cafe....happy dog and delicious cakes!
Then onto to Suz to finish the book that goes with the bunting so it can be sent off to our dear friend who has stage 4 ovarian cancer and has just started her treatment.
The vicar came to bless the bunting ...this was the prayer she wrote for us all to say.

Bless her this day.
Be to her - comfort
Be to her - peace
Be to her - inspiration
Be to her - motivation
May this gift of love and friendship surround her in prayer, comfort, protection and healing
May she know that just as you are with her, we are with her too
May she be supported by every stitch made in love.
Bless her - this day - this week - this month - this year.
In Jesus name we pray.

The word bunting is probably via Old French, from Vulgar Latin *bonitare "to make good,"
We also found out that the triangular shape was a symbol to protect a woman’s reproductive organs.
Such a coincidence we just thought we were making a nice gift.
