Open, chalky grassland is the perfect environment for cowslips and my Tuesday customer has an area which is exactly that hence another cowslip photo from me. This year seems to be an excellent year for them and the completely natural plants that fill the space mentioned are performing superbly.

One job I had at a later customer was to remove a shrub from a confined area. I checked that there was enough swing space for my mattock and started digging it out, unfortunately one swing was more enthusiastic than the previous and it hit the fence, bounced off and hit my head causing a bit of a bump. Note to self, straw hats are not current PPE standard head protection. Still, a couple of baby wipes and a plaster have stuck it all back together again.
