TENGMALM'S OWL

Hurrah, second trip for it and what a little beauty. All is well in the birding world. Smiles, relief, and even a photograph.

When we tore ourselves away from it we caught the ferry across to Yell, and then on to Unst. We didn't find the Red-flanked Bluetail which had been found earlier, but we did bump into Julie, met on previous trips here, at Hermaness, which was a big bonus.

We celebrated the Owl with dinner at The String, which was pure heaven on a plate.

Extras are that door again and one of the dogs at Lea Gardens.
