The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow

The hospital goes by a number of nicknames, none terribly positive, but weren't we glad to get there today.

T & K have encountered nothing but friendliness and professionalism since they went in in the early hours of Tuesday morning. We were through to visit them today and to meet our gorgeous grandson for the first time. He is absolutely beautiful and good as gold. They're hoping to get home today.

When we left the temperature had shot up to 16 degrees which felt very spring-like. Home now and I'm getting ready for yoga which I definitely need - especially the lying down bit. For someone who did no work at all to bring this perfect wee chap into the world I'm feeling completely wiped out.

As we hoped Flora got her collar off today and is free to charge about unimpeded. Watch out world!
