Embroidered 3D stumpwork

I went to a fascinating talk last night by Michele Carragher who is a very skilled hand embroiderer who decorates and embellishes costumes for TV and Film. Her latest work has been the costumes on Game of Thrones (which, incidentally, I have never watched!)
This close up photo is of a 3D stumpwork humming bird, the detail of which (I think you will agree) is amazing!
