because I've only been shopping today.
My friend wrote this book in recent years about her Dad.

Mr Crisp was born on Rocky Island, Seaton Sluice just along the Coast from St Mary's Lighthouse.The family later moved to the cottage on the
Island.
At one time he taught at Newcastle College of Art.
A couple of weeks ago I watched a great programme on TV about the Artist Sean Scully.

A lot of his paintings sold for a lot of money.They were similar to ones by Mr Crisp who didn't make millions.
To me he's famous for carrying the horses head from New Orleans.
It now lives in Spain. I've sent a photo of it to his daughter and I hope he's looking down and is happy about it being there ;)
