Overnight sensation

I planted some seeds over two weeks ago and put them out in the cold frame - kept checking them but not much happening. So when it came to planting some courgette seeds I read the packet (!) and it said inside sowing recommended and so stuck them in the windowsill. Daily checking revealed nothing then tonight as I was washing up I noticed they had grown as if over night.
The other pics are the ones that were outside! Now brought indoors with the hope they grow
