Scenes around the city

We met our very good friends for lunch today in town. Edinburgh is beginning to show its early summer colours with lots of people, languages, cameras and bursts of sunshine around. These 3 items caught my eye ......the bottom left made all of us smile , not sure of the story behind the top one and the cork wall art was perfect example of how waste can be upcycled into.....art? Not sure I'd want it on my wall but it worked in the restaurant we went to.
The meal was delicious....smoked salmon followed by mussels and chips!
