Preparation is Everything

More work in the attic tonight.  Now that all the old stuff has been removed, including the old floor boards, it is time to start laying the batons ready for the new floor boards.  The first few feet are going to be a bit of a pain as the joists are at 90 degrees to the joists over the kitchen.  Never mind it will give me a chance to cut up some of the timbers.  The final bits of insulation have been put in and the next step will be to trim the first board to line up with the existing flooring.
