Newbie

Zaluzianskya ovata, aka Night Phlox, not an alpine but at home among them on a raised bed. Originating from South Africa it's not a phlox at all but a member of Scrophulariacae. The flowers open in the evening and close up during the day.


Hosting our visiting speaker for Norfolk Alpine Garden Soc group tonight. A day including just a little cleaning and tidying! Good to spend time with Tim, a friend of many years. Great talk and tomorrow we'll be on a day of garden visits. Excellent!
