New purchase

I bought this anthology of women poets in the charity shop . It's great - very uncluttered and quietly inspirational.
I'm working on some poems at the moment. I have written four new ones but I'm taking longer to refine them. I hope this is a good thing and not simply a symptom of over analysis due to lack of confidence. I lack confidence but this is not necessarily a bad thing. It promotes thoughtfulness.

I've been feeling quite political these last few days and quite angry about how some people view the world, some of whom are my friends. My attitude as I get older is to always put across my point of view but never get into debates with people who I feel have bigoted viewpoints, as they are not going to change their opinions, just relish an argument.
