Craning for a better view

A busy day of post holiday catch up and calls.

Painters begin working on the windows at the front of the house on the recently erected scaffold trying to combat the ravages of salt and wind!

An afternoon voluntary shift and evening meeting of fellow volunteers which went very well.

Cranes are reappearing across the city as Edinburgh is being remastered. My route into the city is still potholed by all the heavy lorries that are connected to this construction work.
