Day 1 Barcelona Camp Nou

To celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary later this year and our birthdays, Chris and I flew to Barcelona for 3 days. Chris's birthday was yesterday and Dan paid for us to visit Camp Nou for his birthday treat. Chris really enjoyed exploring the different parts of the club and took hundreds of pictures. My favourite part was the virtual reality headset that was included with our tour. The tour took in many different parts of the stadium and there was loads to see. The trophy room is very impressive. There's a huge following for Barcelona FC and we must have seen about 20 different club shops dotted around the city.

We stayed at the Iberostar Paseo de Gracia hotel right in the centre of Barcelona on Placa Catalunya. The bus from the airport dropped us off in the square and we found the hotel really easily. The room was lovely and breakfast was beautiful. The underground was right by the hotel so I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a short break to this beautiful city.
