View from our hotel room

Well, that was the longest journey I've ever done: from Devon to London (+2 overnights), from Heathrow to Perth, Western Australia (via Singapore - 20 hours' flight - to change planes - with a glorious 10 minutes' walk to the next plane's Gate and another mini leg-stretch round the boarding lounge before squeezing our limbs into an even tighter space for the final 4-5 hours' flight). Phew!

We arrived at our hotel soon after midnight local time after 36 hours on the go. This is the view from our balcony taken immediately on arrival. After just spasmodic snoozes in transit, we slept well, though not long.
