World's Smallest Horse
This is Einstein, probably the world's smallest horse. When he was born he weighed 6 lb/2.7 kg, and was only 14 inches/36 cm tall.
Einstein was visiting Village Books, our local independent bookseller, to promote the book, A Friend for Einstein. Not surprisingly, there was a large contingent of kids lining up to pet him, and to get a copy of his book "signed" -- it was a rubber stamp imprint of his hoof.
I'm pretty sure Einstein got more attention than he really wanted today, but fame has its price.
