Bronze medallist

Evie slept through my visit today, exhausted by her efforts in the Easter Games on Ward 84 at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital. She came third in the egg and spoon race, without cheating.

In the Mums’ race Caroline got the silver medal, telling me that she “took it really seriously, taking her slippers off and everything.”
