Chic in Japan!

A chance to see younger women in kimonos and don't they look splendid? I'm guessing they were a lot warmer underneath all of those lovely layers than I was - and what beautiful colours! Kimono fabrics can be exceptionally expensive and I have to admit to having a few covetous thoughts, especially about the lovely obi or sash you can see on the left... however NO ONE will ever convince me that those traditional shoes (geta) are comfortable.
