Gosh, it got hot today, it was 17C in the afternoon.

We were food shopping in the afternoon and when I was almost finished in the supermarket, the fire alarm sounded.   We had all to leave the building, and foolishly I left my shopping bags (not my purse) in my trolley.  We were outside for about half an hour, and it was a friendly crowd.  As someone said at least it wasn't raining.  

We would just have left, but for my shopping bags which I didn't want to lose, so we stayed, although lots of people left in their cars, thereby blocking the way in for the fire engine.  It was quite funny!

However, all was well that ended well, unlike Notre Dame......such a tragedy!
