Worm’s-eye view

Having worked my hours, I was able to leave the office early today. With warm and sunny conditions, I parked at the bottom of St Catherine’s Hill and walked along the River Itchen navigations into the centre of Winchester.

I took a walk round the Old Bishop’s Palace ruins, also known as Wolvesey Castle, and spotted this gate which I felt would make a great subject for today’s Abstract Thursday challenge set by Ingeborg
