Speckled On A Star

Another lovely dogwalk with my daughter this morning. Frankie and Ollie decided to go for a paddle in a very muddy stream.

I saw my first orange tip butterfly of the season yesterday and another today but didn't manage to capture it. This speckled wood has settled on a stitchwort flower. This is quite unusual, in my experience they prefer to perch on leaves.
