Our sponsored walk

Yesterday the Primary school children from Dervaig with staff, parents, buggies and a couple of dogs did their walk. The older pupils walked 12.7 miles (at least!) from Tobermory, via Dervaig Primary to Calgary Beach. The younger children joined them and walked the 5 miles to Calgary. On the way lots of chat, litter was collected along with donations. Many patient drivers who encouraged all the walkers. A family lunch at school and then a BBQ at the beach organised by parents with quite a few children and adults swimming in the April sea! Already over £700 raised. What a lovely way to start the Easter weekend. Happy Easter...
