Raglan Castle
This is just a small part of what remains of the once fabulous Manor/ Castle built towards the end of the castle era as a fortified fine home with family and guest accommodation, services and gardens to match. Unfortunately it was used as a fortified castle in an 11 week siege by the Roundheads who having vanquished the Royalists occupants reduced it to rubble.
There is enough left and now protected by CADW to allow you to appreciate this once fine building.
We visited on our way home from Craswall to Bristol and end to our family Easter outing.
