Bench

For Good Friday 11yo, 14yo and I headed out to Skipton where we played in the park, walked along the canal, explored the woods and generally mooched about.

This fine stone bench is one of the features of Skipton Castle Woods; 11yo adds scale. A couple of excellent willow sculptures (extra) added to the interest. The scent of the wild garlic was heady.

In the park I saw my first Large White of the year, and there were also Peacock, Comma, Orange-tip, Small Tortoiseshell and Small White on the wind.
