Dovedale

Bit of a slow start today - we finally got ourselves almost ready to go out, then realised it was pretty much lunchtime, so we stopped in and had lunch first - and then headed out in the car to Dovedale.  Had a lovely walk/scoot along the River Dove as far as the stepping stones.  It was pretty busy, thanks to the Easter holidays, but still so beautiful.

Had a lovely drive through beautiful Peak District scenery after that, and then back to the cottage, where my sister cooked us a tasty dinner.
