Fairy lights

Brightly coloured frills -
Dancing skirts for tiny lights.
Simple things bring joy.

One of the things I love about Christmas is that it's an excuse to festoon the place with fairy lights. I love the way they cheer the place up and give a magical glow and am always a bit sad when they have to come down after Christmas.

In other news, found out yesterday that the caravan we were buying had been destroyed in a fire at the caravan place. We had only paid a deposit so shouldn't be out of pocket, but it's still upsetting. Also I feel so sorry for the caravan place as they lost about 18 caravans and motor homes. The fire was in the area where they stored the ones which had been sold, so the poor chap was having to phone round everybody. We are going to see them later today to see what can be done.
