Yarncliff

An excursion to Padley Gorge in the Peak District and wandered into Yarncliff Quarry.  The quarry is no longer used to extract stone, but this image shows one of the near vertical faces used for climbing.  Probably over 30 metres in height its shiny surface and few hand/foot holds is a challenge.
