SULPHUR TUFTS
These are definately not edible. Its hard to find which particular species they are but their generic is (Sulphur tufts) and they are found on fallen or chopped tree stumps and logs. A short walk through the Burwood plantation this morning found a few. Generally the forest floor is still very dry and there isnt much to be found at this stage in the early autumn. Fungi is mostly found after heavy rain followed by warmish days.
