A 35KM day on the bikes; out armed with packed lunches and copious supplies of water and we raced off into town on the cycle paths to SKELF; along with loads of other kids on holiday too.
Roller bladers, skateboarders, BMXers, MTBers, pump trackers, roller skaters, scooterers and even a couple of real youngsters on balance bikes. A heady wiff of spliff too from the older ones; who also provided a dub heavy soundtrack.
Hours we spent there. Hours, I tell you. Not that it felt like it. A brief interlude to take the Kuda to get a pinch puncture sorted and then back for several dozen more laps (each).
A quick call to Hers as she finished up WFH for the day and then off down the Mound (MReid - where were you??!?) for some dinner, hot showers and football cathc up on TV. (EFL had highlights of the Sunderland v Burton game for us to peruse)
Tom on his 87th lap Or was it 88th?
