Modern art

We realised the immense gorgeousness of St Mary’s Cathedral simply by crossing the road differently on our way to the modern art gallery, where we finally saw the Warhols and Paolozzis. Warhol has through the years been sanitised, made familiar and anodyne. Yet to encounter him in reality still thrills me completely. His danger remains.

Will is a Niddron and loves Jack Kane so I photographed him on the Jack Kane bench. We walked back by Chester Street and stopped at the flowers laid where Bradley Welsh was shot on Wednesday. People had left boxing gloves, inscribed with heartbreaking messages.  

Earlier this morning, in the early hours, the moon was full.
