COFFEE MORNING

I met two of my fellow choir-members, Thelma and Hilda, for coffee today, and discovered that the pub up the road (officially the Golden Lion, but known to all as the Aldi Arms, because they share a car park) is absolutely heaving with "ladies of a certain age" in the mornings, drinking good coffee and enjoying wonderful chocolate truffles made by the chef. We decided that a regular coffee morning would be in order in the New Year.

This is nearly a One Street blip, because the pub is visible from Hart Lane though not actually on it.
