Flower Power

These lovely flowers were the only ones in a large unkempt front garden. They seemed determined to bloom amongst the long grass although the garden may be tidied up soon as the house has new tenants. My friend had new neighbours and they knocked on his door and said, "We've come to get the lawn mower" When he said he only had his own electric mower and to ask their landlord, they replied, " He told us to use yours as he doesn't lend his out ! " How cheeky is that, especially as my friend doesn't even know who the landlord is !
