Stone Old Alleynians 0 Rylands 5

After visiting Bridgemere Garden Centre I continued down the A51 to watch Stone Old Alleynians who play in the Hallmark Security League Division One South at level 6 of the non-league pyramid. They play at a sports complex on the outskirts of Yarnfield which houses several teams on a number of well-maintained pitches.

 The opposition team, Rylands, play in Warrington and their comprehensive 5-0 win clinched the league title in an enjoyable game with some good goals.

The main blip shows Rylands' first goal scored by Tom Freeman who reacted quickly after the ball had struck the underside of the crossbar. The extra shows the Rylands players celebrating at the end of the game after winning the title.
