GOOD FRIDAY

After a morning cleaning and prepping for visitors The Rev and I went to church for some quiet and reflection at the service about the Stations of the Cross. So glad we went for the calm before the chaos!!!
#In fact it was the easiest catering ever....fish n’ chip tea ....fish, prawns, calamari, fish balls and chips from the chippie!!! I also made a chocolate orange trifle and a hot cross bread and butter pudding but everyone was so full we had lots left!!!!
#it was great to spend some time outside in the garden
#though the heat was too much for some so indoor dining too
#a certain little madam stole the show...my lovely great niece Edie having a cuddle with M who is spending her first Easter in England.
Wont mention my other daughter in law who fell out of a taxi onto her head and after a trip to A&E has a massive bump and 2 black eyes!!!!

Good Friday is a day of hope. It is a day where we look forward to a brighter tomorrow. Many things have happened to change the course of our lives, but it has not shaken our faith.
