Ducklings

Spring is as usual happening far too fast. I always want it to slow down.

This afternoon - our favourite local bluebell wood, a field of cowslips, the first swallows we have seen, and the first singing whitethroats and reed warblers. Also chiffchaffs, willow warblers, blackcaps, skylarks and displaying peewits. 

And the first ducklings of the year. Which had to be the blip for this Easter Saturday.
