ITBA (It’s That Boxer Again)

I’ve blipped this boxer recently, but who could resist such a soulful expression? The first time I blipped, there were two of them. On the last couple of occasions there has only been this one at the gate, none of the exuberance that the pair used to exhibit. We can only surmise that one is no longer with us. This lovely dog does look rather grey in the muzzle. But what a face, what eyes.

A regular Saturday morning walk into town, coming back laden with goods of all sorts, fortunately not two 2.5l tins of paint that I collected later in the car. But one get one free in Wickes.

Sowed loads of seeds: runner and dwarf beans, (is the politically correct?) courgette, cucumber, summer and winter cabbage, broccoli and sprouts. It’s that time of the year. A run completed the day.

Almost spoilt the dinner by adding a tin of ancient chicken soup instead of mushroom to the Crispy Topped Cod. It was rescued and tasted just as it should. A recipe from the past.
