BEST Kids

Today, I worked a cute event: a 5k "Hero's Run" (for grown ups) and a short "Fun Run" (for little kids) to raise funds for BEST Kids, a nonprofit mentoring organization that empowers youth in foster care. The organization is guided by the belief that all children are talented and the program encourages its youth to discover and develop their unique skills and abilities. It begins with kids as young as six and continues through age 21. 


Mentors, mentees and benefactors raced together in good spirits. The pic is of the start of the "Fun Run" for the little kids.
