Deux lapins

I had a bit of a stressful end to the day. Mr F was at the Stade Rochelais game and I'd just come in from the garden and was about to do my Blip when I noticed an email saying we had a last minute b&b booking!
We have only just started doing this, and only been on the website for a few days, so it was a bit of a surprise to see that our first guests would be arriving on the 20th. As it was almost 9.30pm, it took me a while to realise it was today and that meant any time now, and in fact they arrived five minutes later!
A young French couple arrived, and as I opened the door, the lizard who lives under the doorstep jumped out. The girl was terrified as apparently they don't have lizards in Paris where they live, but I shooed it away and in they came.
As is often the case with younger French people, they say they can't speak much English but they actually can, so when I got stuck on a French word they encouraged me to say it in English and they knew exactly what I meant, and gave a good translation! They were a bit stressed too as it was their first b&b booking, and they weren't sure what was awaiting them!
Eventually Mr F came home, and by then I had eaten the bunnies had two cups of tea and calmed down.
