Striding Edge

We set off early to beat the crowds, and headed down to Patterdale, from which we climbed Helvellyn via striding edge - my favourite route up it. It's a few years since I've been along the edge, and it was easier than I'd remembered. In fact, the most technical bit is after striding edge, theres a really steep scramble up to the top of Helvellyn. (see extra!)
