Lunch in the sun.

What a glorious birthday.
I think it is the first time I have had breakfast, lunch and tea sat out in the garden.
A lazy day. Haven’t even done any gardening except watering this evening.

Lovely to see the family who called round with cards and presents and we had tea and cake sat outside.
They had been to Malham Cove for a picnic lunch. Went early and so came away before the rest of the crowds hit the road back home.

I actually finished “ Shirley “. The Charlotte Bronte book I have struggled with, but glad I persevered.
It happens to be her birthday today as well.

I hope you have all enjoyed your Easter Sunday. I think this weather is going to last for another couple of days. Must be one of the best Easters ever.
