Eas Chia-aig waterfalls

Had a couple of holiday drinks and awoke to find it much to our surprise still dry. Out we went hoping to avoid the rain and by and large we did. We spent some time at the majestic Loch Arkaig today and had a very close encounter with some stags which was magnificent.

The Eas Chia-aig waterfalls are just before the loch. We have seen quite a few waterfalls this week including Steall falls the second highest in the UK but there is something visually manageable about this one and therefore it seemed like a good one to Blip. Using my super mini gorilla pod tripod and a 1/2 second exposure I ventured into the middleish of the stream put the camera down and hoped for the best.

I think the greatest triumph of this photo is the fact I still had dry feet afterwards, good old goretex.
