Treat

What a treat to sit outside on the edge of the forest after dark, water boiled, tea made and supper at the ready. Still in shorts after a glorious day of summer weather.

Picked Jamie up after breakfast and headed off to visit a friend in another hospital, just an eighty mile trip each way :-/. At least we were heading in the right direction, no fun to be caught up in the tide of traffic heading for the coast this morning and it was worse tonight as they all headed home. Our visit not quite as planned, some faulty paperwork meant we could not take A out to a local beauty spot but seven hours spent together was still good therapy for both.
